Cédric Van Branteghem is a former Belgian sprinter who specialized in the 400 meters. He was born on March 13, 1979, in Ghent, Belgium.
Van Branteghem began his athletics career at a young age and quickly showed promise. He won his first Belgian national title in the 400 meters in 2001. He went on to win the Belgian title seven more times, most recently in 2011.
